Established in 2023, we are here to introduce you to a growing community of conservation and healing taking place through the sport of fly fishing here in the South Eastern United States.
About Murph on the Fly
Bringing you the knowledge of 15 years of fly fishing and 40 years of outdoor experience. Murph has fly fished in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Montana, and Alaska. He is passionate about finding native fish in his home rivers using flies he has tied. He has spent the past 3 years volunteering with various non profit groups sharing his journey through the sport and the healing process it brings. Murph began guiding with East Alabama Fly Fishing in 2023 and is excited to continue their partnership.

Full Day Float
1 Angler $400 2 Anglers $500
A full day float down the Tallapoosa River. We will take you down the Tallapoosa River in our Stealthcraft Hooligan XL raft. The Hooligan offers a seat in the front and the back with casting braces, so you can fish all day or sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. We will provide a riverside lunch and select beverages. BYOB. We do not allow glass or smoking on our raft because of the increase probability of damage. Bring your sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. Remember that you may want to cover up if the sun starts to shine later in the summer! Check back frequently as we add rivers and services to help you have the best experience!
